           - Cetearyl Olivate/Sorbitan Olivate: (Emulsifier) Water and oil do not mix. In order to create this formula, ther must be an emulsifer to make this formula stable and prevent separation. This emulsifier is ECOCERT & COSMOS-approved, biodegradable, non-toxic and 100% plant derived. Cetearyl Olivate is a blend of cetearyl alcohol and Olive Oil fatty acids. Sorbitan Olivate is derived from sorbitol (a sugar alcohol) and olive oil. 

         - Benzyl Alcohol/Dehydroacetic Acid: (Preservative) Any product containing water must have a preservative to prevent the growth an microorganisms such as mold and bacteria. This makes the product shelf stable and safe to use. This preservative is ECOCERT & COSMOS-approved, broad spectrum and non-irritating. Benzyl Alcohol is found naturally in some oils such as Jasmine or Ylang Ylang. Deydroacetic Acid is a nature-identical antimicrobial that occurs in some plants.
